Sarah D. | Maternity Session

Puyallup Maternity Photographer | Melissa Ide Photography

Over the summer during my chemo I still took on a few sessions; Sarah’s maternity session was one of these. She had a very specific idea of the types of images that she was looking for so instead of natural light in the studio I pulled out the strobes. Sarah happened to be looking for intimate, nude images and initially she felt a bit nervous but became more comfortable as the session went on.

I absolutely adored working with these two. They were hilarious, sarcastic, and just oozed love for one another.

Sarah enjoyed being pregnant, craved sushi, watermelon, and Thai iced tea, and loved baths and massages.

When asked her advice to others considering a maternity portrait session she replied “bring extra clothes so you have options.”

I’d love to add more maternity images to my portfolio, contact me if you are interested. I have a deal you might like to hear about.
